Freshman Cambry Gilbert led the Post JV team to a 23-0 win over Lamesa with two rushing TDs.
JV Lopes Shutout Lamesa, 23-0

Coach Jerry Pyles - The Junior Varsity Antelopes football team (2-0) defeated Lamesa JV (0 -2), 23 -0, Thursday night at Golden Tornado Stadium.
Tailback Cambry Gilbert put the Lopes on the board first during the second quarter with a 70 yard touchdown run. Rafael Gonzales' kick made the score 7-0. On the Lopes next possession QB Jarred Curtis hit Shandon Wiley for a 60 yard TD pass, the extra point attempt failed.
The two teams traded possession the rest of the half with the Lopes holding a 13-0 lead.
In the third quarter Gilbert once again found paydirt around the right end on a 35 yard TD run. A Curtis pass to full back Blaine Reece on the PAT made the score 21-0.
The Lopes would add 2 more points when linebacker Christian Saucedo sacked the Golden Tor QB in the endzone for a safety to finish the scoring for Post.
Offensive highlights: the offensive line - David Hernandez, Caleb Krenshaw, Christian Armenderiaz, Rafael Gonzales, Edel Sanchez, Tristan Fannon, Alex Ramirez. Ricky Fontenot had 35 receiving yards.
Defensive highlights: Interceptions - Ethan Self, Christian Perez and Gilbert. Recovered fumble by Saucedo. Good defensive plays - Blaine Osborn and LB's Saucedo and Reece.
