Butler Bronc Ride Returns to Post Saturday

The 7th Annual Tom Butler Memorial Bronc Ride is this Saturday, October 20, at the Post Stampede Rodeo Arena.

Last year's event impressesed organizer Traci Butler who said it was "shock-n-awe" with how things worked out with about 5000 fans attending.

The gates open at 9:00 a.m. and the Bronc Ride begins at noon. Saturday night following the event Jake Hooker and the Outsiders will be playing for a dance.  Here's the entire schedule:

9:30 a.m. - 5 p.m. ~ Silent Auction (Covered Slab at Arena)
9:30 a.m. – 6 p.m. ~ Vendor Booths (Covered Slab at Arena)
11:00 a.m. – Noon ~ Calcutta and Live Auction
12:00 Noon -4:30 p.m. ~ Opening Ceremony & Bronc Riding
5:00 p.m. ~ Presentation of Awards & Winners
NO GLASS BOTTLES! Cans and Cups Permitted
Three food vendors on site: Classy Caboose, River Smiths and TC Ponderosa (voted best BBQ in Texas).
