Garza County Early Voting Results

Published Nov. 6, 2012 @ 8:05 p.m.

Election day polls are now closed in Garza County and the vote counting process is under way.  In the mean time, results from the two weeks of early voting have been released.

As reported previously, there were 876 early voters for the General Election and 765 for the Post ISD Election.  In local races, many candidates ran unopposed after emerging with wins in the primaries.  A contested race for County Commissioner of Precinct 3 remained, with Ted Brannon (R) facing challenger John Valdez (D), along with the bond authority proposal for Post ISD.
