Many Post Elementary students and staff participated in Rare Disease Day.

Rare Disease Day USA

Published March 11, 2012 @ 9:19 p.m.

February 29th, the most rare day of leap year, is Rare Disease Day in the U.S.  To show support for those who have a rare disease and to raise awareness, many of Post Elementary School students and staff, Pre-K through 5th grade, chose to wear blue jeans (for the "genes" that are the causes of these diseases) and zebra print (each one is unique) to school that day.  Click here to find out more about Rare Disease Day USA.
