Runoff Election for Primaries Set

The runoff election for the 2012 Primaries is set for Tuesday, July 31, 2012.  The Republican and Democratic Party county chairs have contracted with the Garza County Clerk to conduct a joint election for the parties.

Early Voting will be from Monday, July 23 through Friday, July 27 at the Garza County Courthouse.  The polling place will be open from 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m., including the lunch hour.

Tuesday, July 24, is the last day for the Early Voting Clerk to receive applications for absentee ballots by mail.
There will be one countywide consolidated voting precinct on Election Day.  Therefore, Garza County registered voters who don’t vote early, will be able to vote at the Post Community Center at 113 W. Main Street from 7:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m. on July 31.
