Adelmira (Mira) Sanchez

Services for Adelmira (Mira) Sanchez, 67, of Post will be at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, July 17, 2012 at the First Baptist Church with Pastor Lauro Hernandez and Pastor Rafael Ramos officiating. Burial in Terrace Cemetery will be under the direction of Hudman Funeral Home.

She died Saturday, July 14, 2012 at her home in Post. She was born on January 28, 1945 in Post to Eugenio and Hilda (Chagolla) Solis. She married Joe Sanchez on February 5, 1971 in Post. She was a homemaker and a member of the Assembly of God.

Survivors include: her husband Joe Sanchez of Post; one daughter, Susie and husband Willie Barboza of Post; one son Joseph Sanchez of Post; five sisters, Rebecca Quinonez of Grand Prairie, Sara Gonzales  of Post, Ernestina Genter of Cedar Hill, Christene Sifuentez of DeSoto and Edna Palacios of Cedar Hill; one brother, Ruben Solis of Duncanville; two grandchildren, Stephanie Garcia and Jordan Barboza; and one
great grandchild, Avery Garcia.

She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister Mary Martinez and three brothers Jerry Solis, Alberto
Solis and Solomom Solis.

Visitation will be  from 6:00 until 7:30 p.m. Monday at Hudman Funeral Home.
