Pro Football Player Baron Batch to Speak in Post
Published Jan. 28, 2012 @ 8:09 a.m.
Former Texas Tech and current Pittsburgh Steelers running back Baron Batch will deliver a message at the Post First United Methodist Church, Wednesday, February 1 at 7:00 p.m.
Organizers have invited all who would like to attend.
Batch just completed his rookie season as a football player with the Steelers. Unfortunately, because of a season ending injury in August 2011, he spent the season rehabilitating and not on the field. Prior to being drafted into the professional sports world, he played his college career as a Red Raider.
According to Batch's Facebook page, he makes his home in Lubbock and graduated from Midland, Texas High School.
As seen on BaronBatch.com, he professes to be a pro football player, writer, speaker, photographer, storyteller, traveler, adventurer, philanthropist, bowler, ping pong player, over comer and servant.
