Joyce Teaff 73, of Post, died on Monday February 27, 2012 in Lubbock.  She was born July 15, 1938 to Vic and Dora (Anderson) Lauderdale at Smyer.  They moved to Grassland in 1944 to farm in Lynn and Garza Counties.

Joyce attended school at Tahoka and graduated from Tahoka High in 1956.  The former Joyce Lauderdale married Roy Teaff December 14, 1957 at Grassland.  Roy preceded her in death September 1, 1998.  They made their  first home in Post.  Joyce worked many years in health care as a clinic manager and retired from Covenant Medical Group.  She is also preceded in death by her parents and a sister Laverne Teaff.  Joyce loved  spending time with her family, watching sports on TV and going to the games.  She enjoyed spending time in the summer at Cloudcroft, New Mexico.  She was a member of the First United Methodist Church.

Survivors include: Two Sons: Rodney and his wife Marinda Teaff and Randy and his wife Toka Teaff, all of Lubbock.  One Daughter: Vicki and her husband Rodney Gray of Post.

One sister: Shirley Taylor of Post.  Nine grandchildren: Ryder Teaff, Lane Stryker, Ty Stryker, Justin Teaff, Riley Teaff, Dakota Teaff, Nicole and her husband Jason Powell, Miles Gray and Rachel Gray.  Four great-grandchildren: Hayden, Kye and Kelbie Powell, and Ellison Teaff.

Services will be held Thursday, March 1, 2012 at 2:00 PM at the First Baptist Church in Post.  Rev. Steve McMeans and Dr. Ben Edwards will officiate. Burial will follow at the Terrace Cemetery. Arrangements are under the personal care of Dee and Janet Justice, Justice-Mason Funeral Home.  Pallbearers will be Grandsons.

The family will greet friends at the funeral home Wednesday evening from 6:00 pm to 7:00 pm.
