Ladies Auxiliary Honors Veterans for Valentine's Day

Representatives of VFW Post 6797 Ladies Auxiliary brought Valentine's Day cheer to Golden Plains Care Center Sunday, Feb. 12, 2012. Rebecca Jolly and Jaynie Dickson presented Valentine's cards signed by members of the community to veterans who reside at the Care Center. Each veteran also received a gift bag filled with goodies from the Auxiliary. These thoughtful expressions of remembrance brightened up an otherwise dreary, snowy day for the veterans.
