End of Summer Splash - Canceled

Annual Event Hosted by the Community Recovery Center

Update!: Due to curcumstances beyond the control of the CRC, the end of summer pool party has been cancelled.  Problems with the pool, leading to its closure, are regretfully preventing the hosting of this party.


The Community Recovery Center is hosting its annual End of Summer Splash Tuesday, August 7, 2012 at the Post Public Swimming Pool from 6-9pm.

The Community Recovery Center, along with local supporters and sponsors host two annual pool parties per year and these events are for individuals from Post and Garza county community.  The Community Recovery Center would like to express their thanks to their supporters of the Start of Summer Splash Party, Judge Lee Norman, Post Rotary Club, Giles W. Dalby Correctional Facility and Hometown Pharmacy.

Admission will be by “Red Ribbon” only. Persons interested in attending will need to obtain their “Red Ribbons” from the Community Recovery Center, 405 S. Avenue C, located on the back of the “Old Mill” building. Children under 12 will require parental supervision at the event.

The “Center” welcomes the members of the community in participating in a family friendly event to beat the summer heat! Individuals or organizations wishing to assist in sponsoring or supporting event are encouraged to contact Director Chris Atkinson at (806) 495.3173 or
