This Saturday is Post City Trade Day in downtown Post. Besides all the shopping, Cathy Whitten and Wes Norwood will be playing live on Main Street from noon – 2:00 p.m.
The Caprock Cultural Association will be sponsoring a Wyman Meinzer Photography Workshop in Post; August 4. Meet at the Heritage House, 109 No. Avenue N. Supper at 6:30 and then the group will learn about "Painting with Light" as well as shooting in moonlight. $200/person; payment due with reservation; class size limited to 15. Ragtown Gospel Theater will be opening “Mystery of Hebrew Scribe” on August 10. Shows are at 7:30 p.m. on Fridays and 3:00 Saturday.

August 24 & 25 the Annual Rotary Smokin’ in the Park Bar-B-Q cook-off will be at the City Park. This cook-off is sanctioned by the Lone Star BBQ Society and plates will be for sale to the public immediately following the judging. What a great way to end the summer!
