The Post Area Chamber of Commerce (PACC) will sponsor a public forum for candidates on Thursday, May 3, 2012, at 7:00 p.m. in the Youth Room on the East side of the Post Community Center, 113 West Main Street.

Local and state candidates have been invited to attend the non-partisan forum and present their platforms.  This is a unique opportunity to gain insight into local, area, and state government issues and candidates running for political office.  The audience will have the opportunity to submit questions for the candidates.

James Eppler, KJTV's Good Day Lubbock morning show anchor and managing editor, will be on hand to moderate the event.

So far, participants include all four Republican candidates for the State Representative District 68 race, those vying for the District Attorney’s position, applicants contending for the local sheriff’s race as well as candidates for other local positions.

For additional information about this forum please contact the Chamber office at 806-495-3461.
