Football Coach Profile: Jimmy Toney

Coach Jimmy Toney is in his 6th year of coaching and his 2nd year at Post.  He is an assistant receivers and inside linebackers coach.  His primary assignment is the head varsity boys basketball coach and he also serves as a junior high football coach.  He's a graduate of Abilene Christian University with a Bachelors of Science degree in education/social studies.  Coach Toney teaches world geography and prefers to eat steak.  He's a fan of the University of Texas Longhorns, the Los Angeles Lakers and the Dallas Cowboys.  John Wooden, Phil Jackson and Jerry Sloan are his all time favorite coaches.  He likes Around the Horn (ESPN) on TV, Hoosiers is his favorite movie and prefers ESPN.com when online.  Toney's main goal is for his boys basketball team to be successful in district play and then against the rest of the state.
