Antelope Named 2-A Player of the Week

Vance Blair recognized for his play against Anson.

The Lubbock AJ's LoneStarVarsity.com website chooses a Player of the Week from each classification and releases the results each Wednesday.

Post's starting fullback Vance Blair, a 5' 7" 150 pound junior, received the honor for his play in Week 5 of the season. His game leading stats was one of the reason's the Bold Gold improved their record to 1-1 in district and 2-4 overall.

According to the LoneStarVarsity.com website "It’s been a struggle for Post with a new coach and new systems to learn, but the Antelopes showed signs of improvement with Friday’s 31-7 win over Anson to earn their first District 2-2A, Division II win of the season. Blair was a key cog in the that victory, rushing for 150 yards and two touchdowns."

Congratualtions to Vance and the entire Bold Gold team.
