Post City Council Meets Tuesday, Oct. 18

The Post City Council will meet Tuesday, October 18, 5:30 p.m. in the Council Chambers of City Hall, 105 E. Main St.  Following is the posted agenda for the meeting:

Consider approval of consent agenda items:  minutes from regular meeting Sept. 13, 2011; approve invoices received at city hall for October, subject to the approval of the committee.

Discuss/consider Garza Theatre closure.

Discuss/consider request for Hotel/Motel funds from Jackie Cruse.

Discuss/consider request for Hotel/Motel funds from Ragtown Gospel theater.

Discuss/consider White River contract.

Discuss/consider bank depository.

Consideration and possible action regarding the need for the redistricting of single-member district boundaries following the 2010 census.

Discuss/consider the contract with Blackboard Connect on-call system.

Discuss/consider rules and regulations of the Post Community Center.

Hear communications from Citizens. Comments will be taken from citizens on any subject matter whether or not that item is on the agenda.  All comments are limited to a maximum of three minutes for each speaker.  No action can be taken on an item not specified on current agenda.

Hear communication from city manager.

Hear communication from city officials.
