Villalon Medals at State Meet

(AUSTIN) - Kalyn Villalon, a senior at Post High School, made her mark at the2011 UIL Texas State Track and Field Meet by bringing home the bronze medal in the discus in the Class 2A division. Villalon threw the discus 125’ 4” the morning of May 14 at Mike A. Meyers Stadium on the campus of UT Austin to capture third place. Also representing Post in the state meet last weekend was junior Corbin McDonald. He took fifth place in the triple jump event with a mark of 44’ 7.75”. In the high jump, McDonald reached 6’ for a ninth place finish.
