West Texas Lavender Farm in Slaton brings its products to Trade Day the first Saturday of the month.
Trade Day Downtown This Saturday
Published June 26, 2011 @ 8:14 p.m.
Make Trade Day part of your holiday weekend this Saturday. Street vendors will join local shops to provide a full day of shopping starting at 9 a.m. Approximately two dozen booths will set up on the side streets along East Main Street with vendors selling a variety of goods.
One vendor who has become a regular at Trade Day is West Texas Lavender Farms from Slaton. The owners, Sandy and Jimmy Williams are very talented folks who are dedicated to producing high quality lavender products. They add a new product to their inventory almost every time they set up at Trade Day. In June, Sandy introduced lavender honey and also had lavender plants for sale. Other products created at West Texas Lavender Farms include shampoo and conditioner; soap, lotion and balm; and soy candles.
