Major League Boys Win District Baseball Championship

Team Prepares for Sectionals

With a 13-3 trouncing of Slaton, the Post 11 and 12 year old boys’ major league baseball team won the District 38 title and moved on to the sectional tournament in Lubbock. On July 8^th at 6:00 pm, the Post all-stars will meet Midland West in the opening round.

The young Lopes qualified for sectionals by winning all five of their games in the district tourney held at Floydada. They started off with a 10-5 win over Idalou on June 23rd, then Crosbyton forfeited, Post upset the host Floydada team on the 25th and then proceeded to knockout Ralls this ... see more at PostSportsPage.com
