Borden County Plays Saturday for State Title

The Borden County Coyotes get to play in the 6-man state football championship again. In their second year in Division I, BC (12-1) will try to avenge last years defeat against Garden City and win the 2011 championship over Throckmorton (13-0) Saturday at 2:00 p.m. in Abilene at Shotwell Stadium.
The Coyotes advanced to the final game by beating Turkey Valley 61-56 while Throckmorton won 78-52 over Abbott.
