The Courthouse Elevator Story

Since the first story about the elevator project at the Garza County courthouse, Part 1 published a month ago, there is actually "up and down" activity as the installers use the lift to make final installations inside the shaft before the unit's walls are set in place.
Over the last month the elevator shaft was constructed from the ground under the first floor up to the roof of the building. And just this week, the doors on the second and third floors were set as seen in the picture to the left.
The elevator construction project is on a 145 day schedule and should be completed by the end of January. And according to the foreman of the project, it may be ahead of schedule.
