Post Basketball Comes to Internet Radio
Published Dec. 1, 2011 @ midnight
Some of the Post High School girls and boys varsity basketball games will be available for fans to hear on Post Sports Radio (PSR), starting Tuesday, December 6th.
"It's a great opportunity for fans who can’t attend the games to stay involved," said Jim Plummer, owner/operator of Post Sports Enterprises.
The seven game webcast schedule is for the District 3-2A road games for both varsity teams:
Tuesday, December 6th @ Colorado City, 5:45 p.m. (Girls only)
Friday, December 16th @ Denver City, 6:15 p.m.
Tuesday, January 3rd @ Forsan, 6:15 p.m.
Friday, January 20th @ Coahoma, 6:15 p.m.
Tuesday, January 31st @ Stanton, 6:15 p.m.
Tuesday, February 7th @ Roosevelt, 6:15 p.m.
Friday, February 10th, @ Colorado City, 6:15 p.m. (Boys only)
Most of the away games are an hour-and-a-half to a two-hour trip from Post. "It's difficult for fans to travel that far especially on a Tuesday," said Plummer.
Due to a scheduling conflict, the January 10, 2012 game at Slaton was left off of the schedule. Plummer hoped that Post fans will make the short trip to support the basketball teams.

The agreement with the Post Independent School District describes that away basketball games and playoff games for all sports will be added to the webcast schedule this year. Plummer said “we’ve only done football games the past two years. This year we thought adding the away varsity boys and girls basketball and playoff games would be great additions to the schedule.”
Plummer brings more than 20 years of broadcast and audio production experience to the operation. For the past four years, he has served as the public address announcer at the PHS varsity home basketball games.
He explained that the internet opens up listener-ship of Post athletics to the world “wherever Post sports fans are located.”
