Jesusa Olbera Castillo

1931 - 2012

Jesusa Olbera Castillo 81 of Sinton, Texas entered her heavenly home on Tuesday November 27, 2012 surrounded by her loved ones.  She was born on October 15, 1931 in Llano to Francico and Serpia (Arreualo) Olbera.  She passed away in Lubbock.  Jesusa is preceded in death by her parents, three sisters, five brothers and her husband Noe V. Castillo.  She was a Catholic and a member of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Sinton. Jesusa loved her family, gardening (especially roses), hosting BBQ's, family gatherings, dancing and canning Mason jars of chile.

Survivors are: One son: Larry J. Nino, Sr. and his wife Sylvia of Wilson.  Three daughters: Sylvia L. Nino of Sinton, Barbara Santos of Lubbock and Noelia C. Valdez and her husband Michael of Post.  One brother: Epifanio Olbera of Sinton.  14 grandchildren, 34 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.

Services will be 4:00 p.m. Thursday November 29, 2012 at the Post Church of Christ with Travis Sweet, minister officiating.  Burial will be at 10:00 a.m. Saturday December 1, 2012 in the Eternal Rest Cemetery at Sinton, Texas.

Pallbearers will be: Patty Nino, Eric Alaniz, Raul Santos, Michael Garcia and Christopher Nino.  Honorary pallbearers will be: Oscar Castillo and Jace Alaniz.

Viewing and visitation will be Thursday November 29, 2012 from 1:00 p.m. to service time at the Post Church of Christ.

Local arrangements are under the personal care of Dee and Janet Justice, Justice-Mason Funeral Home.
