May Madness Youth Basketball

The Post Youth Atletic Group (PYAG) are keeping the gyms busy and the kids on the hardwood playing hoops.

This Saturday, for the second consecutive week, the PYAG will host another tournament, the Antelope Play Day with teams from Lamesa, Seminole and two teams from Shallowater. Commitments of teams from Ft. Stockton and Portales, NM are pending.  The games are scheduled at the arena and the old high school gym between 9:00 a.m. and 7:00 p.m.  

Last weekend, the PYAG hosted 20 teams for a total of 34 games for the South Plains May Madness round robin tournament.  Teams from Breckenridge, Abernathy, Lamesa, Colorado City, O'Donnell, Klondike and Lubbock Roosevelt joined Post teams in the fun.

Here are the results from last weekend's South Plains May Madness event:
3/4th Girls - 1st Place, Abernathy; 2nd Place, O'Donnell
5/6th Girls - 1st Place, Klondike; 2nd Place, O'Donnell
5/6th Boys - 1st Place, Lubbock Roosevelt; 2nd Place, Post
7/8th Boys - 1st Place, Colorado City; 2nd Place, Lamesa
7/8th Girls - 1st Place, Lamesa; 2nd Place, O'Donnell
