Pastor Scott Richards announced that the First United Methodist Church is expanding its service offerings.

On March 21 the Post church will start a regular Wednesday Praise and Worship service at 6:15 p.m.

Prior to the service, a meal will be provided for service attendees at 5:45 in the fellowship hall.

The service described as casual, modern and relevant, will include praise and worship music, teaching and discussion, as well as time for ministry in prayer.

The Wednesday March 21 service will feature Christian rapper Kyle Stallings of Soldiers of God ministry out of Lubbock.  According to the S.O.G. website, the group signed a recording deal with Tate Music Group earlier this year.

The band's web site claims S.O.G. shares the Word through "new and bigger opportunities in prisons, juvenile detention centers and various concerts to reach both youth and adults through Christian rap".

Richards said that "all are invited, come as you are".
