Memorial Brick Orders Due by July 10

Post Area Chamber of Commerce will place its next memorial brick order July 10 for Centennial Plaza.  If you would like order a brick, forms are available at the Chamber office or online at www.postcitytexas.com.  The engraved bricks included in this order, which cost $55, will be installed in the Plaza at the courthouse in September.

Business owners need to be aware that the State Comptroller’s office is offering a Tax Amnesty Program for businesses that collect and pay Texas state sales tax.  For more information, click here.

Ragtown Gospel Theater will present the final shows of “Pentecost” this weekend – Friday at 7:30 p.m. and Saturday at 3:00 p.m.

Also, the Chamber is hosting a Construction Cash Mob to remind shoppers that the brick street maintenance project on the north side of East Main Street is complete and the shops are open for business. 
Join the fun on Thursday, July 12, from 10:30 a.m. until noon in downtown Post.

Other upcoming events are the next Chamber Community Bingo Night will be August 2, the Post Stampede Rodeo Parade Saturday, August 11, Post City Trade continues the first Saturday of each month. The summer will wrap up with the Rotary Club’s annual Smokin’ in the Park Barbeque Cook-off on August 24 & 25.
