Published Feb. 6, 2012 @ 9:56 p.m.

A large rambunctious crowd gathered at the Antelope Arena last Friday night for some basketball against arch rival Slaton and to officially say farewell to the round ball Class of 2012.

The Lady Lopes played their last home game of the season and then were accompanied by their parents as they were introduced to the adoring fans.  This year's out going seniors are Shirley Araiza, Skylar Jones, Katelyn Elmore and Madison Cash.

Then it was time for the guys to make their way out on the floor with family members.  Playing in their final season are Antelopes Jacob Perez, Parker Loftus, Corbin McDonald and Dakota McDonald.

The ladies will conclude the 2011-12 season Tuesday night at Roosevelt while the boys will finish at home next Tuesday, February 14 against Coahoma.
