Chamber Banquet set for February 25

The Annual Chamber Awards Banquet is scheduled for February 25.  The entire community is invited to vote for Business and Citizen of the Year.  Ballots can be obtained by emailing, calling or coming by the PACC office.  Ballots are due by February 9.  Contact information for the Chamber office is email:  chamberofcommerce@postcitytexas.com, phone: 806-495-3461 or stop by the depot.

This Saturday is the first Post City Trade Day event for 2012.  Vendors will be on Main Street from 9-5 and the existing merchants will be open their regular hours.  It’s a great opportunity to “shop at home”.  (Editor's Note:  click here and read why it's important to "Shop Locally".)

Ragtown Gospel Theater will be opening “St. John and the Televangelist” on February 10.  Tickets can be purchased online at www.ragtown.com

Wyman Meinzer, the official State Photographer of Texas, will lead a Night Photography class as part of a Photography Workshop in Post on February 24 & 25.  For more information, contact the Caprock Cultural Association at 806-495-4148.

The Post Public Library is a free Poka Lambro Wi-Fi Hot Spot!  If you have a Wi-Fi enabled device, you can enjoy free high speed internet service whenever you visit the Library.

Also, our Annual Garza County Job Fair will be in early March.  All businesses are invited to have a booth and present information to jobseekers.  Booths are free for Chamber members and $25 for non-members.
