Published Aug. 28, 2012 @ 10:01 p.m.

The Post varsity volleyball team played five matches in the Littlefield Tournament August 24 and 25.   Head Coach Charlyn Hohman said "it was a learning experience for all.  The girls gathered together in the final game to give it their all with positive and encouraging attitudes."

The scores of the matches were:  Post-Estacado 23-25, 28-26, 25-27.  Post-Littlefield 12-25, 19-25.  Post-Plainview Christian 10-25, 15-25. Post-Plains 11-25, 4-25.  Post-Olton 15-25, 17-25.

Coach Kim Greer:  The freshman volleyball team traveled to Snyder last Saturday to take on the Tigerettes.  While they got off to a slow start and scored only 8 points the first game, they picked up the pace and surprised the Tigerettes in the second game.  Ragin Kimmons lead the girls in her service game, while the team helped maintain control of the ball to enable the Lady Lopes to gain the lead several times.  Quincy Quintana and Molly Burtch played critical roles in receiving serve and scoring at the net.
