ORDINANCE NO. 617

AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE CITY OF POST, TEXAS CODE OF ORDINANCES AND SETTING FORTH RULES, REGULATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS RELATED TO THE FENCING AND ENCLOSING OF PRIVATE SWIMMING POOLS LOCATED WITHIN THE CITY; DEFINING CERTAIN TERMS; REQUIRING A SWIMMING POOL PERMIT; PROVIDING A PENALTY IN AN AMOUNT NOT TO EXCEED ONE THOUSAND DOLLARS FOR EACH DAY OF VIOLATION OF ANY PROVISION HEREOF; PROVIDING FOR SEVERABILITY; CONTAINING OTHER PROVISIONS RELATED TO THE SUBJECT; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
