Lopes Travel to District Leading Coahoma

JV at home, JH play there on Thursday

The Bold Gold and the Bulldogs meet Friday in Coahoma for a crucial game for both teams.

The Lopes enter Friday night's district game with a 2-4 overall record and a 1-1 district record after last week's homecoming win over Anson.  (Click here for the Anson game story.)

Coahoma enters week 7 with a 3-3 season record and a district leading 2-0 record after defeating Hawley last week.

The Junior High (7th and 8th grade teams) play Thursday at Coahoma.  The seventh grade begins at 5:00 p.m. and the eighth grade game follows.  Both Post teams are undefeated with a 4-0 season record and a 2-0 district record after beating Anson last week.  (Click here to see game summaries.)

The Junior Varsity (2-4, 1-1) host Coahoma on Thursday for a 6:00 p.m. kick-off.  Post is coming off a victory over Anson.  (Click here to see game summaries.)

The other District 2-2A, Division II varsity games are Hawley (5-1, 1-1) at Idalou (4-1, 1-0), Forsan (4-1, 1-0) is at Anson (0-6, 0-2) and Stanton (2-4, 0-2) is open.
