General Election – Nov. 8, 2011

Early voting begins Monday

There are ten Constitutional Amendment propositions on the ballot.  (See related story “Summary of Proposed Amendments” in the Garza Post.)

You can vote early in person each weekday at the Garza County Courthouse, 1st Floor, 300 W. Main, between 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. Monday, October 24 through Friday November 4.  The Early Voting office will be open during the lunch hour.

Applications for ballot by mail should be mailed to: Early Voting Clerk, Garza County, P. O. Box 366, Post, TX 79356.  The application must be received at this address not later than the close of business (5:00 p.m.), November 1, 2011.

All voting on Election Day, Tuesday, November 8, (7:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m.) will be at the Post Community Center (Main St. door), 113 West Main Street.
