Antelopes Make Area Football Honor Roll
Jones and Brown finish season on high note

Week 9, the final week for Post football, was notable for a couple of Bold Gold Antelopes even after a close loss to Hawley, 21-20. The individual performances of sophomores Pake Jones and D.J. Brown got the attention of the sports reporting staff of the Lubbock Avalanche Journal and its sports website LoneStarVarsity.com.
Both Post players were listed among eighteen 2-A players on the South Plains to experience outstanding perfomances in last weeks games. As reported on LubbockOnLine.com:
D.J. Brown, RB, Post, 5-6, 140, Soph.: Rushed for 109 yards on 15 carries with two touchdowns, caused a fumble and recovered a fumble in a 21-20 loss to Hawley.
Pake Jones, QB, Post, 5-10, 160, Soph.: Rushed for 100 yards on 15 carries in a 21-20 loss to Hawley.
Previously, Brown was named "Antelope of the Game" against Hawley by the Post Sports Radio crew.
