Celebrate Christmas in Post!

Post, Texas offers a wonderful assortment of activities for the Christmas Holidays.  Take some time this year to enjoy our community and visit these events!  Check back frequently for updates and new event information.


"Bethlehem" A Christmas Musical
Friday @ 7:30 p.m. and Saturday @ 3:00 p.m. through December 17th.
The musical looks at the birth of Jesus from the perspective of Heaven, portraying the tender relationship between Father and Son in a new light. Chip Polk and the Ragtown Gospel Band will begin each performance with a special Christmas concert. Visit www.ragtown.com for more information or to purchase tickets.


Post City Trade Day
Saturday December 03 @ 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.
A full, fun day of shopping in downtown Post with street vendors and local shops.


Lighted Christmas Parade
Saturday December 03 @ 6 p.m.
The traditional lighted Christmas Parade sponsored by the Post Area Chamber of Commerce. No entry fee - cash prizes. For more information about participating, call the Chamber office, 806-495-3461.


Post Elementary School Christmas Musical
Thursday, December 15 - 3 performances
The Christmas Musical is at 10:00 a.m., 1:30 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. at the auditorium. The public is both welcome and encouraged to attend.


Citizen's Bank Open House
Friday December 16 @ 9 a.m. - 3 p.m.


Post ISD Winter Break Begins
Monday December 19 @ 8 a.m.
The holidays continue through January 3, 2012. Back to school on Wednesday, January 4.


Christmas Eve Service
Saturday, December 24 @ 10 p.m.
The First United Methodist Church will host a Christmas Eve Service at 10:00 p.m.  Everyone is invited to attend this brief service.


Christmas Day Service
Sunday, December 25 @ 10:50 a.m.
First United Methodist Church will have regular church services, 10:50 a.m.  All are invited at attend.


Free Community Christmas Supper
Sunday, December 25 @ 6 p.m.
Trailblazers, 205 E. 10th St.
Everyone is invited, there is no charge to anyone.
