Author of Texas Hamburger Book in Post Thursday
Holly's Drive In included in "best of best" hamburgers

Author and photographer Rick Vanderpool will be at Ruby Lane Books, 127 E. Main in Post Thursday, Nov. 3, 1 to 3 p.m. to sign copies of "The Texas Hamburger: History of a Lone Star Icon." Holly's Drive In in Post is one of the hamburger "joints" mentioned in the book.
Vanderpool and his hamburger book will be featured on Texas Country Reporter scheduled to run Sunday, Nov. 6, 8 a.m. on KCBD-TV, Lubbock.
The author traveled 11,000 miles looking for the best hamburgers in Texas. He photographed roughly 750 joints and tasted several of the best of the best Texas burgers. "The Texas Hamburger" is a fun read and a great gift for folks who like to enjoy offbeat "tours" in Texas.
