City Council Meets Dec. 13

The Post City Council will have a regular meeting Tuesday, December 13, 5:30 p.m. in council chambers of city hall.  Below is the posted agenda for the meeting.

The following items will be considered and action taken if needed:

Item  1:  Consider approval of consent agenda:  approve minutes from regular meeting November 8, 2011.  Approve invoices received at city hall for December 2011, subject to the approval of the committee. 

Item 2:  Tom Fulton with the White River Municipal Water District.      

Item  3:  Consider/discuss appointment or re-appointment of director for White River Municipal Water District Board. 

Item 4: Consider/discuss appointment of Animal Control Officer Eddie Pitts as local rabies control authority.   
   
Item 5: Consider/discuss Ordinance 620 amending the City of Post, Texas Code of Ordinances and setting forth rules, regulations and requirements related to the regulation of rabies withinthe city; defining certain terms; providing a penalty for each day of violation of any provision hereof; providing for serverability; containing other provisions related to the subject; and providing an effective date.

Item 6: Consider/discuss Blackboard Connect use policy and standard operating procedures.

At this time comments will be taken from citizens on any subject matter whether or not that item is on the agenda. All comments are limited to a maximum of three minutes for each speaker. As specified in the Texas Open Meetings Act, any deliberation of, or decision about, a subject not included on the current meeting notice shall be limited to a proposal to place the subject on the agenda for a subsequent meeting. No action can be taken on an item not specified on current agenda.
