Let it Rain

Last night, August 11, residents of Post and Garza County witnessed something they hadn't seen in months: measurable rain fall.
According to the National Weather Service in Lubbock, Post received .36 inches of moisture. Although, the sheriff's department measured .66 of an inch. Tahoka received .75 of an inch and Lubbock reported over 3 inches in some places.
Thanks to you our readers we are able to share what others received in their rain gauges from around the county: 1/2" at 8th and Ave. Q, 1/2" at 715 N. Broadway, 1" at 1450 County Road 145, and 1.3" at County Roads 115 and 220.
